Curzon Street railway station, Birmingham. This will be the site for the new High Speed 2 rail link into Birmingham. The first train from London to Birmingham arrived at Curzon Street Station on Monday the 17th of September 1838. The station used as offices until recently is awaiting refurbishment and will form part of the new terminal for Birmingham where the High Speed 2 trains will arrive. The Station sits in Digbeth, near Millennium Point (Thinktank). The area is part of Birmingham City Councils future development strategy. Pictured, the rear of the building, looking across the area wher the new terminal and tracks will be built.
