Royal Institute for the Marine. The emblem has been derived from the corps of nobility breasts, as it was awarded by Queen Wilhelmina in 1904. The capital letter W comes from her name. The Emblem Spell Sumus et Fore Speramus (we are and hope) refers to the training as a naval officer.
