Baska Voda is a small municipality in Croatia in the Split-Dalmatia County, located on the Adriatic coastline of Dalmatia 10 km northwest of Makarska. Like many towns on the so-called Makarska Riviera, this pretty seaside town is benefiting from a tourist boom. Maybe its lovely climate, crystalline waters, beaches and scenic location under the Biokovo mountains might have something to do with it? Its sweeping promenade facing the marina, lined with luscious date palm trees, is a highlight.
