Alexander Wylie (1815–1887), was a British Protestant Christian missionary to China in the 19th century. He worked with the London Missionary Society superintending their press in Shanghai beginning in 1846, and then worked with the British and Foreign Bible Society beginning in 1863. He is known for his translation work and scholarship during the late Qing Dynasty.
