An ornamental leaved plant, graceful in habit and well furnished with fo- liage, a most valuable plant of its family. The stem and leaf-stalks are purplish, thickly marked with oblong white spots ; the broad leafy limb, which is imparipinnately divided, the pinnaj themselves are of a bright green with a purplish costa opposite and deeply pin- natifid; it is a native of the South Sea Islands.

A veiy distinct species, produ- cing large pinnate leaves; leaflets obscurely lobed, from two to three inches long, light green, margined with pure white. Native of the South Sea Islands. The color of the leaf is dark very glossy green on the upper surface, and dark red beneath. Price, $1 to $5 each. Elegantissima.
