Surtout-Overcoats, are cut on the same principle as Frock-coats; only,increasing the measures in the ratios given; and following the styles, outside of thefit, at will, or according to fashion and good taste. 3. In placing the patterns upon the goods, always begin at the bottom andplace the largest piece first, then the second; and continue thus, to the end; arrangingthem, in the most economical way.
