The Public Library,on Boylston Street, is avery spacious and ele-gant structure, built ofbrick, and elaborately finished in the interior. It contains about200,000 volumes, and half as manjr pamphlets, to the free use of whichthe citizens are THE CUSTOM HOUSE, BOSTON.
