Battle of Centaurs and Lapiths depicted on the tympanum above the main entrance to the Museum of Fine Arts in the Heroes Square in Budapest, Hungary. The building of the Museum of Fine Arts (Szepmuveszeti Muzeum) designed by Albert Schickedanz and Fulop Herczog in neoclassical style was completed in 1906. The tympanum is a copy of the west pediment of the Temple of Zeus in Olympia. Three male characters in the middle are King Pirithous, Apollo and Theseus (from left to right).
