Daniel Stauffer emigrated from Germany incompany with his brothers, David and William, in1736. It is not known who he married. He livedsomewhere in either Tinicum or Nockamixon town-ship, Bucks co, Pa. He was at one time employedin hauling cannon balls from Durham furnace for theContinental Army. Presumably a farmer ; : Daniel, Henry, Jacob. II. Daniel Stover, b in Bucks co, Pa, in 1768 ; diedJune 13, 1841 ; m Mary Magdalena Moyer. He firstlived on a farm of 90 acres in Tinicum twp, one mileeast of Ottsville, on the Tinicum Creek, which hebought of a Piper, who had judgment or liens onthe property. When Mr Stover had bought theproperty and paid for it he neglected to examine therecords, and, after occupying the farm for a year orso, it was sold by the Sheriff to satisfy Pipers liencred
