Nancy, France - June 25 2020: The Carnot monument, or Obelisk of Nancy, is an obelisk located on the alley separating Place Carnot and Cours Léopold. Inaugurated on June 28, 1896, it was erected in memory of Sadi Carnot, French President of the Third Republic, who was assassinated two years earlier in Lyon by the Italian anarchist Caserio.
