Berlin, Garten, No Mans Land Garden. A quiet corner in Church Community garden project behind Chapel of Reconciliation The cemetery administration Berlin-Mitte allocated the garden area within the yard of the Elisabeth cemetery for urban horticultural use and it represents a return to life of the former Berlin Wall death zone. The garden in the "No Man's Land" is a project of the Reconciliation Community Parish and the community Parish AM Weinberg (on the vineyard) and is situated behind the Chapel of Reconciliation. The area behind the Reconciliation Chapel was the compost area of St. Elizabeth and Sophia church after the fall of the Wall and later unused fallow land belonging to the Elisabeth Cemetery The Evangelische Friedhofsverband Berlin Stadtmitte is today the landowner and has provided the two neighbouring parishes the 1000 square meter area for a community garden. Families with different origins garden and small community festivals, meetings & concerts are planned for the garden.
