It is very interesting, and there are a lot of pretty nationaldances and costumes. I have onecalled Riittviks. The sports aremostly skating, and skeeing, whichis very amusing. I visited an oldSwedishcastle(Orbyhus), and I sawthe prison of King Erik XIV. Itwas built of thick stone walls, andover the old stone fireplace he hadwritten some verses. There werethree rooms which he had for him-self. His brother ordered the prison-keeper to give him poison in a dishof pea-soup, and he died in theprison.
