A B-52H Stratofortress returns to Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Aug. 28, 2020, following a brief evacuation to Minot Air Force Base, , to avoid possible damage from Hurricane Laura. Hurricane Laura, a Category 4 hurricane, made landfall on the Louisiana coast. It was strong enough that its continued path reached Barksdale, causing significant amounts of damage.
