A male Grey-tailed or Gray-tailed Mountaingem - Lampornis cinereicauda, perched on a branch in the Savegre River Valley of Costa Rica. Until recently it was believed to be a subspecies of the white-throated mountaingem, Lampornis castaneoventris.
