Rollerbladers on the Paris Left Bank.

The Paris Roller, held in Paris on Friday nights, draws up to 25,000 in-line skaters. It began in 1994 but grew to the point where the police are now involved, blocking off roads and providing an escort for the skaters with about 20 gendarmes on skates joining the ranks. The skaters in yellow tee-shirts are marshalls.
