This plaque on the north side of Blackheath commemorates, in Cornish and English, the Cornish Rebellion of 1497 and in particular the leaders Michael Joseph the Smith and Thomas Flamank who were executed at Tyburn. The plaque is constructed from a piece of slate from the Delabole quarry in Cornwall and was erected in 1997.
