Slovenia Ljubljana Ribji Square Fountain and the oldest house in town Built 1528 Now Abecedarium Cafe


In 1528 the Major and Merchant Wolfgang Bosch built a house at what is today number 2 Ribji trg. The coat of arms on the facade above the door has remained until today. Later in 1562 the Father of Slovene Literature, Primož Trubar, the writer of the first Slovene printed book - ABECEDARIUM - also lived in this house.
