English citizen Eden Fernandez in Kabul Afghanistan during the civil war in the early 1990s before the arrival of the Taliban. He became a Shia Muslim and fought on the side of USA / CIA backed Harakat-e-Islami. This party and Wadhat represented the Shia population of Afghans, mostly the Hazara mongoloid tribe. He was kidnapped shortly after this picture was taken, held for several months and released to British diplomats.
