It was in a tower some-what apart from the main palace of the Alhambra, though con-nected with it by the wall which encircled the whole summit ofthe hill. On one side it looked into the interior of the fortress,and had, at its foot, a small garden filled with the rarest the other side it o\erlooked a deep embowered ravineseparating the grounds of the Alhambrafrom those of the Generalife.
