NOTE: There is no reason to believe anyone in this photograph is an undocumented resident , or a so-called "illegal alien"

Following the 2016 Presidential election, State District Attorney Stan Garnett created a wall of his own during this meeting in Longmont, CO. Speaking to an audience of about 400 people, many Spanish-speaking, Garnett drew a line between Federal immigration enforcement and state/local law enforcement. He encouraged reporting of criminal activity, including hate crimes and illegal scams, while assuring residents that undocumented victims would not be turned over to immigration authorities. Garnett is district attorney in Colorado's 20th District, essentially Boulder County. PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO REASON TO BELIEVE ANY PERSON IN THIS PHOTOGRAPH IS UNDOCUMENTED. MOST PEOPLE AT THIS MEETING ARE LEGALLY IN THE UNITED STATES. MANY ARE CITIZENS.
