There are a number of colleges and businessschools. All the religious denominations are represented, withmany fine church buildings. Cost of Lands. Improved lands are rated $25 to $50 per acre; unimproved lands$15 to $30 per Facilities. The Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railway has recently extendedits line from Denison to Bonham, the county seat, and in connectionwith one other line affords good transportation facilities. Towns and Cities. BONHAM, the county seat, is a progressive business city of6,500 inhabitants. Grain, cotton and live stock shipments are Cotton and Cornnear Bonham.
