As a forcing variety it has already made its mark, the few flowers that have so far been offered this season having been eagerly sought for at high prices. And besides its good qualities as a forcing rose, trials so far made with it in the open ground would show that it bids fair to rival that best of all open air roses, Maman Cochet; and we have no hesitation in predicting for it a great future, both as a forcing rose and for open air culture. This is a charming variety, of robust growth, medium size and exquisite form. Color white, suffused with salmon- pink ; flowers full and freely produced throughout the sea- son.
