Longnose hawkfish (Oxycirrhites typus) on a sea fan. This fish is found in the Indo-Pacific region on the steep outer slopes of coral reefs, feeding on small and microscopic crustaceans. It is usually found near a sea fan, a colony of tiny coral organisms (polyps) which build a rocky structure around themselves for protection and support. Photographed in the Red Sea, near Egypt.
