This good record wasmade in the face of a decreased numberof workers, at a time when we were liv-ing down a sizeable debt, and at a timewhen we were having to give much con-sideration to fundamentals. Recently Mr. Pickens visited the Chil-drens Home on his second round of per-sonal investigations, and resulting fromthis investigation will come a new gra-dation for the ensuing year. In all prob-ability the Childrens Home will rateeven higher in the next report gottenout by the Duke Endowment.
