This illustration shows England's King Richard III (1483-1485) who was killed on Bosworth Field, ending Wars of the Roses. Pictured with him is Margaret Tudor of Scotland, daughter of Henry VII of England. In 1503, she married James IV of Scotland and their son became James V of Scotland, father of Mary, Queen of Scots. The illustration dates to 1882.
