MINNEAPOLIS (July 18, 2017) – Members of the Navy, Army Corps of Engineers, Hennepin County Sheriff’s Department, Minneapolis Police and Fire departments participate in a wreath laying ceremony during Minneapolis/St. Paul Navy week under the I-35W bridge on the Mississippi River to remember those lost in the tragic bridge collapse ten years ago. Navy Week programs serve as the Navy's principal outreach effort into areas of the country without a significant Navy presence, with 195 Navy Weeks held in 71 different cities.
