It was not difficult to followin his fathers footsteps, nor to continuethe activities in which he had been en-gaged, so that within a short while has become a man of promi-nence in his profession. Like his father,he is also a member of the Democraticparty, and in business circles has wonfor himself a position that may well beenvied. Weidman has always manifesteda strong interest in Freemasonry, and isa member of all the societies in Lebanon,in which he has become a past belongs also, by inheritance, to theSociety of the Cincinnati, of Pennsyl-vania, of which he is secretary, and to theLoyal Legion; and is a member of theSteitz Club, a local organization, and ofthe Rittenhovise, Racquet and PrincetonClubs, of Philadelphia.
