On the starboard side of the frigate the"Hermione" replica (Rochefort - France). The original frigate got under way on the 10th March 1780 for the "American campaign" and reached Boston on the 27th April with the marquis de la Fayette aboard; the latter was missioned by king Louis XVI in order to support the American president George Washington. Sur le tribord de la réplique de la frégate l'Hermione, à Rochefort (France). La véritable frégate appareilla le 10 Mars 1780 pour "la campagne d'Amérique" et arriva à Boston le 27 Avril avec à son bord le marquis de la Fayette, missionné par Louis XVI pour soutenir le président George Washington.
