Air Force Senior Airman Drew Parrish, 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron pavements and construction equipment personnel, spots an excavator collecting debris from a hole made to repair a replicated airfield during a rapid airfield damage recovery (RADR) exercise at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, May, 12, 2021. When an airfield is damaged post attack, these Airmen are able to get the airfield functional again by conducting field assessments, gathering the necessary equipment and venturing out to repair the damage caused.
