Differs from the Early White Spine in retaining a deep green color in all shapes of growth, medium long, very productive. Livingston's Evergreen. A very strong grower, extra early, of the best flavor; firm, crisp, and superior for pickles or slicing. Nichol's Medium Green. A very fine table' sort; symmetrical growth. Extra Long White Spine. A beautiful large and well shaped Cucumber; longer in shape than the Early White Spine. Extra Early Russian. Very early, short; good for pickles or market. Fordhook Pickling. Tender and crisp; of the best size and shape for pickles. Extra Early Green Prolific. Dark green; produc- tive and of uniform size. ENDIVE. One ounce will produce 3000 plants. Sow early and thin. Soon as large enough thin to nine inches apart. When leaves are eight inches long tie them together with a string near the top to blanch.
