ATLANTIC OCEAN (May 12, 2018) Navy Sailors and civil service mariners (CIVMAR) perform small boat operations on a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) alongside the Military Sealift Command’s hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) as part of Comfort Exercise (COMFEX) 2018. COMFEX is an advanced-phase training exercise designed to prepare and test the capabilities of the ship’s Navy medical professionals and CIVMARs, ensuring readiness to rapidly answer any emergent crisis.
