The Seafront at Parkgate, The Wirral, Cheshire, England, UK

In the early 18th century, Parkgate was a prominent seafaring port until the Dee estuary silted up and the sands became overgrown with sea grasses. Nowadays it is popular with birdwatchers and tourists who come to enjoy the delights of its black and white seafront promenade.
