In the basement of the tower will be a cellar for heating apparatus, coal, & from the requirements of the plan, and partly for the sake of effect, this building is arranged in the form, of a square tower, with high pyramidal roofs of all the buildings are covered with. Staffordshire tiles. Adjoining the Sergeant-Major's residence is the main, and indeed the only, entrance to the drillground.
