This is an image of a government's Spruce Cut-up Mill in Vancouver, Washington, taken in February 1918. The mill was constructed by soldiers of the National Army and is the largest of its kind, costing around $250,000. The photograph was received in March 1918 and censored and released by the War College Division Laboratory on March 7, 1918.
