Hartlepool, UK. 9th October, 2015. Sunrise: The 18ft-long dead Minke Whale was washed ashore on Thursday (8th October) afternoon. Local authorites decide to wait until low tide on Friday 9th before trying to remove the Whale. Local press reports that It is thought the minke whale was caught up in lobster pots near Saltburn and has been drifting since the beginning of October after the body was cut free.
