Skagen is a port city located furthest north in Denmark. At the northern tip of Jutland "Grenen" the North Sea and Kattegat (Baltic Sea) meet. The town has a large fishing port and fishing industry. Due to the two sees, Skagen has a special light, which has attracted many painters. Characteristic of the city are the yellow houses and the city's major tourist industries.
