Discovery launch rollover, 9 September 2010. Discovery being moved between the Orbiter Processing Facility-3 and the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, USA. This procedure is called 'rollover'. Once inside the VAB, Discovery was joined to its solid rocket boosters and external fuel tank. Discovery was part of NASA's Space Shuttle program. It flew 39 missions over a period of 26 years, being retired from service in March 2011. These preparations were for a November launch for its final mission, STS-133. This launch was later abandoned, and the rescheduled mission took place from 24 February to 9 March 2011.
