ANEURYSM TREATMENT
Illustration of the surgical procedure which allows small aneuryms to be treated. A catheter is inserted into the artery right up to the aneurysm, then detachable metal coils are inserted into the catheter which will deploy in the aneurysm and allow blood in the aneurysm to clot.
