They have all the good points that make the original Plymouth Rock such a favorite "farmers' fowl," but are of pure, spotless white plumage, very beautiful and attractive in appearance. They are hardy, first-class mothers, and prolific layers, as well as fine table fowls of good size. Our stock is the very best, and most carefully bred. The value of this breed is such that their reputation is -established. Their color is Dominique, of shades varying from light to dark ; combs single, legs yellow and free from feathers. The chicks are lively and strong, maturing very rapidly, and are ready for the market at an early age. The qualitj' of their flesh is excellent, being tender, juicy and fine grained; the skin being of a bright yellow. They are excel- lent layers, as well as good mothers in season. They are not high flyers, and are good foragers when given their liberty. The cocks weigh nine to eleven pounds, and hens seven to nine pounds.
