Generally any blowpipe in demonstra-tion will work well, especially if thedemonstrator is experienced in the tricksof the trade. In fact we are remindedof a demonstrator who a few years agowas selling welding plants consisting oftwo fine adjustment valves withoutspring or diaphragm and of a very rudi-mentary blowpipe and who could makewith such a plant a very satisfactorydemonstration, but as soon as the out-fit was sold and a regular welder put onthe job, the blowpipe would back fire,spit, get extinguish
