Roman mosaic of the Triumph of Bacchus. Detail. It depicts the God on a chariot pulled by two tigers, next to a winged Victory and a Satyr. The procession is headed by a dancing Maenad (only partially preserved), followed by Pan with the nebris, guiding the beasts by pulling on the reins.
