The annual Gay Pride March in Northampton, Massachusetts, has evolved into a celebration of all things outside the gender norms. In its 30th year (2011), members of a group called Queer Insurgency protested with signs reminding marchers that gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgender people still have a long way to go to reach equality.
