Postcard dated 1810-1828 showing the third Herne Bay Pier which was built 1899. The Grand Pier Pavilion, shown here, was built 1910, and the pier entrance has not yet burned down (in 1928). There is no postmark, but women's dresses are still long and Edwardian collars are worn, and on the back it says 'British manufacture throughout', perhaps because earlier cards were printed in Dresden. Therefore it is possibly dated around 1914. between 1910 and 1928 10 3rd Herne Bay Pier 1910-1928 027
