4 o'clock luck

An east bound freight, headed by two China Railway’s QJ Class 2-10-2s, catches the sun’s final moments on the climb to the summit at Shangdian on the Jing Peng Pass section of the Ji Tong Railway. Shangdian village, in all its winter attire, lies deep in shadow in the foreground. Picture dated November 2004.
