Hunting scenes decorate a carved calcite cylindrical jar, found in the antechamber of Tutankhamun's tomb, Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, Cairo


Hunting scenes in a natural landscape decorate this cylindrical jar, carved in stone and inlaid with pigments. The lid is crowned with a calcaite lion with gold leaf eyes. Two lotus pillars topped with lion like heads of the god Bes adorn the sides of the jar.
