13/11/12 For Lola Hunt-Hopkins (Blonde) (4) and mum Lara Hunt (30 Christmas has come early as they get a chance to select their own poinsettia plants before they begin to be shipped to supermarkets next week. The girls' parents work at Roundstone Nurseries who grow 220, 000 plants in West Sussex. This glasshouse alone, in Almodington, near West Wittering contains 150,000 plants over a vast six acre site. Despite suffering with poor weather this year the nursery has managed to bring the plants on one week earlier than usual to meet the supermarkets' demand to get into the Christmas spirit early.
