August 24th 1908, Centennial Park, Sydney, Australia: A military review is conducted in one of Sydney's larges open parks to celebrate the arrival on August 20th of the American Naval Fleet. The fleet was know colloquially and affectionately as The Great White Fleet due to its size and the fact that its ship's hulls were painted white.
