MGEN Stephen G. Olmstead, commanding general, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, and the family of the late MGEN Edward A. Wilcox, including his wife, Mrs. Edward A. Wilcox, their daughter and two sons hold a plaque in honor of general. Rifle Range 103 was renamed Wilcox Range in honor of the general who died in early 1980. Standing to the right of GEN Olmstead and behind one of the sons is GEN Kenneth McLennan, assistant commandant of the Marine Corps.
