Julian Assange addresses General assembly at Occupy London demonstration around St. Paul's on the 15th Oct 11. The protest was inspired by similar actions in Spain and Wall Street, at least 80 major cities saw protests on the same day.


Julian Assange made a brief appearance at the Occupy London demonstration, Saturday 15th October 2011, addressing protesters and cameras before giving a short speech to the general assembly from the steps of St. Paul's. He left in a crowd of media and cameras. A rumour circulated earlier in the day that he had been arrested, but this was proved not to be true.
