Itsruined wall is of interest to all visitors tothe city. It is said that many of the zeal-ous women of that day carried stone andmortar to help the men in building thechurch, and that all of the work was a laborof love. Lord Fairfax donated the ground forthe church and burying ground, as he hadpreviously done for the Episcopal church, WINCHESTER, VIRGINIA.
